AI2U: With You ‘Til The End is a first-person escape room game with AI-powered NPCS who are desperate to keep you by their side... so much so that they will resort to drastic measures to keep you from leaving! Explore the environment, solve puzzles, and uncover mysteries in different levels with various themes.
Unlike its predecessor, Yandere AI Girlfriend Simulator, AI2U does not require entering an API key. Players must sign up to create an in-game account.
Unlimited Dialogue Choices
You can talk to your AI-powered captors about ANYTHING to plot your escape. Use your wits and charm to figure out their goals and tricks, and talk your way out!
A Variety of Themes and Personalities
Experience various themes and talk with unique NPCs in each level. Explore the rooms and uncover the mystery behind each character and their world.
Multiple Endings
To leave or not to leave? It's not as simple as that. Each level features multiple endings, and some of them are hidden behind surprising interactions.
- Level 1 and 2 with free future level updates.
- A unique redeem code of 10000 in-game tokens (roughly equal to 4-8.5 hours of gameplay, depending on if local speech service is on)
- Pro Tip: Turning on the local speech service allows you to save tokens and have longer game time. Local speech service is set to off by default. You can change it at any time on the in-game menu.
- If you purchased AI2U during the Open Beta phase on itch.io, you will receive a free Steam key when the game is released on Steam.
- Both Windows and Mac game files
After purchase, you will see a redeem code of 10000 tokens on the game download page. You will use the code in the in-game sign-up process to receive the tokens.
If you run out of tokens, you need to repurchase the game from this page, or, click the button in the in-game shop to be redirected to this page to purchase again. You can find the new redeem code on your new game copy’s download page.
This game requires an internet connection to play.
We're a small team trying to create first-of-its-kind AI experiences with the latest technology. Each interaction with AI NPCs comes at a cost; in order to ensure a better experience for our players, we set up customized back-end servers for our game which comes at an additional cost. For our game to be financially sustainable, we ask our players to kindly refill tokens when they hit a certain limit so you can resume your AI escape room adventures.
As AI technology advances and inference costs drop, we will continue to optimize our architecture and extend playtime as much as possible for our community. Bug: Whenever i reach around 2800-2900 tokens whenever i go into catgirls apartment it says warning 100 tokens and cant click on any doors any help?

Hello, the language option of the game's setting interface is only to change some tips outside the game into Chinese, and the character words are still in English. What should I do to change the character's language?
Hi Yanaohnana! While AI2U's UI is localized, we are still optimizing the localization for the AI text and voice features. The characters may still be able to respond to some of your messages in Chinese and other languages, but please watch for updates on the AI's localization! 💖🔪

atleast the og was free but even it didnt work for my win32
YAGS is free but also requires paying for ChatGPT or having an active trial with OpenAI. AI2U is more streamlined and allows players to jump straight into chatting with the AI without grabbing any API keys. 💖🔪
If downloading YAGS' 32-bit version didn't work on your device, it could indicate a device incompatibility issue. Try on a different computer if you can; we can also help troubleshoot on our Discord server if you share more info with us there!
I am having a headache with this game, she's barely responding to anything (when she does she's extremely repetitive.) She'll say things like "she wants to play a game" but then doesnt do anything, she'll just stand there, and for some reason this game has a really hard time picking up words.
Hi gasmime! Thanks for sharing with us. The AI has some fixed and limited interactions outside of the chat feature, but at this stage, we can recommend using asterisks to indicate an action, and she'll likely play along! For example:
Catgirl: "What game should we play together, senpai?"
gasmime: "Let's play our favorite retro games on console! *plops on the sofa and starts playing {insert game title here}*
From there, she might follow your lead or occasionally try to draw your attention to something else. Give it a shot! If you share examples of the game struggling to pick up words then we'd be happy to look into it so we can improve that aspect for you and all players. 💖🔪
Bug: I still have over 2000 tokens but any time i start a game a pop up says I have less than 100 tokens. Then every drawer closet or door can not be clicked. Only loose items on tables or shelves can be picked up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

I had problems with the launcher launching. I had to go into properties and click "unblock" and that allowed it to run. In case anyone else has this problem.
I agree with others, using our own API. I feel the AI is too restrictive to comments, and she repeats herself a lot. I feel the responses were better, or less restrictive in yandere simulator.
Also if she could do what she says, like, leaving the area. Hide and seek is a bummer when she doesn't go hide.

Do I need to rebuy the game every time if I run out of tokens or is there a form of "daily" token thing?
Hello! 💖🔪 When you buy the game, you'll get 10,000 tokens. These tokens cover 4 to 8.5 hours of gameplay and chats with the AI. Once your tokens run out, you can repurchase the game to get another 10K tokens. We'll always consider player feedback on this setup to see how it's working for everyone!

If you ever plan on supporting local models, you might want to use the OpenAI API with the ability to change the proxy server so it can be used by many different open source LLM backends like Oobabooga's text-generation-webui etc. (Koboldcpp had it's own API but Ollama has partial OpenAI API support)

Also i think that your token system IS kinda Bad because i dont think people if they ran out of tokens i dont think people have that money to pay for it and also how to get free tokens without paying because i dont wanna pay for more in the future and i did put them code for the download Key but i dont Want to pay for tokens in the future

But i do have another question, is there any way to examine the secrets of the secret room of the Cat Girl without instantly getting murdered by her?
There also seems to be an option/achievement to leave the apartment together, which goes against the AI's coding
There are multiple unique endings in both AI2U levels! You might unlock some well-kept secrets by solving puzzles and strategically using your words 😼

Great game and will always have my support.
Have a couple things to say:
1. When capped at 2800 tokens exactly, you get a warning message that you have less than 100 (I believe) tokens remaining. When this message pops up, Inventory completely breaks and cannot use any items and can only talk to AI without tokens being used.
2. On map 2, every item you click on- it uses up so many tokens and ended up using more than 4,000 in the span of 20 minutes sadly due to the AI talking whenever I pick up anything.
3. I recommend a feature where the player can add their own Microsoft Azure and ChatGPT API for a minor fee for ya'lls time on implementing the code and Just keep 'purchase tokens' on by default unless the player wants to edit their own game for cheaper in their case.
Like I said, I love the game and unfortunately did not get enough playtime so definitely buying more keys.

I agree with the suggestion from your third point; people with keys and tokens for azure and chatgpt for use like they did for the first game should be able to use them in this one. happy to pay $10 for the game if I could use mine in this one, but with the way it works currently, I'm still debating it.

Having a token system is actually wild. A one time 10 dollar purchase wouldve been enough for what you get, but having to repurchase tokens is crazy.
Looked really interesting and a lot of fun after playing the 1st game but this will be a massive pass for me.

It feels like the devs are over charging for the tokens. Is it worth 10 dollars, yeah if it was a 10 dollar purchase and done. I used 2k tokens in roughly 30 minutes meaning you get about 5 hours of gameplay for 10 dollars then you must repurchase. I preferred it when you could use your open AI key and play the game for much cheaper.
Fun? sure, rip off? Definitely. Worth it? Definitely not.

I'm really enjoying the game so far, and I hope that in the future, it might become free like YAGS. It's been a fun experience, and making it free could also help prevent piracy from third-party sites. This would make it easier for new players to join after the beta test or early release.
