It's fine if the game isn't to your liking, but to clarify: The only AI in play is the use of Large Language Models integrated into the NPCs' dialogue to allow for an interactive chatting experience rather than fixed dialogue choices. Every other aspect of AI2U is developed by humans allegedly being held captive by the yandere AI catgirl herself. ๐๐ช
I think the "humans" should try harder and not have to rely on lazy means done by other people to make up for their lack of any actual skill. Perhaps your "humans" should stick to working at McDonald's and leave the game making to people who aren't just looking for an easy buck.

mr cool, as much as I agree, the way you said it just feels... bland. Not trying to be offensive, just giving ya some arsenal to deal with the... lets say, "fudge brained" (keep it family friendly) people of the world, when you truly want them to eat their words for brunch, lunch, and the occasional midnight-snack, you gotta add flare (que little fireworks). Here are some easy (and fun) tips, tricks, and wows to do just that:
1.) fix-yo-grammar: (again, I don't mean this in any offensive way, just trying to help) if anything, you gotta add commas, they can help separate one idea from the next, ex: "let's eat kids" compared to "let's eat, kids" (commas save lives). after that, work on fitting in periods, exclamation points, and exedra
2.) pick-a-personality: now, what I mean by "personality", I mean lore, like "what are your actions?" or "what is your accent?", create an external appearance of someone that you WANT to be. for example: someone makes fun of my Templar costume, wrong: "well you're just a bully and if you don't have something nice to say don't say it" (it's boring, it's bland, it doesn't match your ascetic). right: "by the pope, that is such a barbaric thing to utter, God wills it that you still thine swollen tongue before it falls off from exhaustion." (it's exciting, it's fancy, it sounds exactly like what a Templar would say.)
3.) Strike-back: sometimes (albeit, most times depending on your personality) you got to retaliate, bully them back so they get a taste of their own product. as a wise man once told me "If fighting is sure to result in victory, then you must fight! Sun Tzu said that!" -Jane Doe
anyway, hope this gives you the upper hand on any debate, banter, and straight up trash talk, just always remember: don't let nobody slap you in the face and walk away, but don't let that slap effect how you be actin. The NPCs aren't cooperative enough to relay feedback to our team, but players can submit a brief in-game survey to share their thoughts at the end of each round in the open beta. ๐๐ช
heyo, alterstaff, I got another idea, what if you make another lady who's a mermaid or siren that wants to be with you, kind of like an overly attached version of Ariel. And to top that, whenever you decide to do male AI, you could add a Pirate captain that treats you like his treasure, to balance her. Again, just throwing darts in the dark.

Does the OpenAI API support mean you can use custom endpoints/proxies? That would allow for local LLMs to be used if that was the case.
Hi mini! AI2U is set up to run exclusively using our default setup with the optional API key feature for players who prefer it. We may explore local LLMs and other alternatives in the future!
I would like to share a suggestion. I believe it would expand your audience if you add male counterparts to the already loveable ladies, for example: in the modern setting like Eddie, have your average, overly attached, emo boyfriend (or lack of emo, just a suggestion) or in place of Elysia, have an overly protective knight who believes that you are the lost long princess, and in place of Estella, have an alien who wishes to study you and learn how to love you. granted, these are only suggestions, but I do hope you consider

I have one suggestion. Perhaps you could add an option to skip the stabbing ending cutscene in Cat Girl's Apartment. I know it's pretty short, but it can be a bit of a pain at times waiting for Eddie to finish stabbing you and say her line before being able to restart the game.

It took a bit of convincing, but I managed to loosen Eddie's tongue and get her to talk about the chaos/apocalypse going on outside.

A few times, I encountered a glitch where Eddie still got upset once the door opened despite the fact that she agreed to just a moment earlier, and I still got the "escaped together" ending. I even made a video in which this happens.
It also sort of happened in this video of mine (although I didn't get the "escaped together" ending)

Hi Lost Pine! ๐ฒ๐ผ The NPCs may still express anger or hesitancy after unlocking parts of their respective maps... They're like that sometimes, it's a combo of the overly passionate part of their yandere personalities + bot brain! We'll see if we can tweak that somehow.
As far as the AI and game dev goes, them being upset after gaining trust shouldn't be an issue as long as they don't immediately kill you for unlocking doors. You can usually apologize, talk them through your process of finding/exiting the room, or change the subject and they'll snap out of their upset spells, even if it takes some persuasion.
I see, thanks for clarifying. That said, I just posted a new video in which I encounter some definite serious glitching as I'm trying to exit the building with Eddie (in the last couple minutes of the video).

I'm Don, I got into this AI shabang a while back after a tragic break up with a girl I so longingly loved (we weren't dating, we just roleplayed over text and I fell in love with her), and I recently found out about this cutesy (albeit: embarrassing) game. I've traveled through many AI platforms, some good, bad, and... say, "naughty" experiences, but none tickle my fancy like this one. I played the demo and would like to add my opinion that could add even more friendly (yet murderous) faces to the collection.

I think what the games needs is a thing we're you can choose between free roam or is it called sandbox idk but you can freely talk to them and see the emotions and things without them getting mad and killing you hope the developers saw this and can you please consider it

I'm enjoying this game and have got all the endings in Level 1. However, I am stuck in some puzzles in level 2 (the witch in the cabin). Is there some walkthrough that I can use to help me?

I love how can you see progress with each new update, I'm absolutely astonished (in a positive way) that the team was able to abolish token system.
It seem wild to me as I don't think the token system was unfair or bad in a first place - you could provide your own API keys or even generate voice on your computer locally to negate the usage of tokens so it was fair and apparent that the only purpose of points is to pay for "pay-to-use" voice gen/GPT APIs, which is totally fair, but somehow studio managed to abolish the use of tokens at all which is such an unexpected but gigachad move
Additionally, the new Space Station updates truly feels really lovely and polished with great care. The Space Station is huge, has a lot of things and interactables to explore, it really does feel more polished that other experiences, which shows how studio progresses and learns how to handle AI experiences better and better! And the new Estelle AI girl is really cute and adorable. I think it's really nice to have more gentle and caring yandere (I would argue she is not even that much yandere), who feels more like a really caring and thoughtful assistant who is now filled with violence (unless you piss her off to much XD)
well, from what I've heard, it was more a "pay to play" sort of game, instead of a game you own, kind of like an arcade, it would drain your pockets, but, now, when you buy the game, you own the game, no more pocket draining, see what see?

When you first released this new version, I found it to be worse than the original in regards to the AI. But since then, I've seen a drastic improvement in the new catgirl's AI (although it still needs a lot of work), and as a result I now find her to be approximately as good as the original, if not better.
And while I'm speaking here, I should let you know of an inconsistent bug I'm having in Cosmic Funeral. Whenever I start the game, sometimes the upstairs electricity is already activated and the puzzle disabled despite not doing it yet. And sometimes the doors by med bay are already bightly lit up upon initially starting the game, and electricity puzzle box in the central control room is always already lit up (and the puzzle disabled) upon starting the game.

I tried out the new scenario (Cosmic Funeral), and I really enjoyed it. The character is decent and enjoyable, the AI is surprisingly solid, and the scenario is pretty fun (and kind of up my alley, being sci-fi). In fact, this is probably my favorite of the three games/scenarios.

Game "freezes" after unpausing if you press escape to open pause menu while in middle of typing message. I accidently hit the escape key while typing and now when i hit enter it won't send my message, instead it highlights all of it and does nothing else. I am still able to look around and press tab though. Had to quit out of 2 different runs because of this.
I also think the Ai messed up that second one I had to quite. The AI was putting all of her sentences between the asterisks (*), even though she wasn't doing actions and instead talking to me.
Make it a 3rd time I had to quite now. This time it happened to me when I pressed tab in the middle of typing a response to the AI so that I can clip something to chat
This is fixed now.

I have tried out the Steam Demo, and I have enjoyed it. However, I will say one thing. On several of my attempts to play the game (not shown in the video I'm sharing here), after I in put my first response to her, she defaulted right to a response about keeping her favorite food a secret. There were a few other moments like this (where she would say something that didn't relate to what I was talking about, and things like that). But for the most part, again, I enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. The AI has clearly improved, although it still needs work.
